Preauction show of “Classical art” exhibition will last for 7 days, from March, 10th till March, 16th, 2012.
The collection of the “Classical art” auction includes more than 150 lots. Works of outstanding Ukrainian, Russian and West European artists of the 19-21th centuries will be brought to the attention of spectators and buyers.
The collection is divided into some sections: classical art of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, classical art of the Soviet and Modern periods, unofficial art of the 20th century (avant-garde, underground, nonconformism) and European art of the 19-20th centuries.
Such works as “The Trinity lavra of St. Sergius” of K.Gorbatov, 1905; “Holiday in village” of I.Pryanishnikov, created in the 1880s; a lyric landscape of the famous Ukrainian impressionist N.Burachek; conversation piece of Russian academician N.Bodarevskij; beautiful landscape of J.Klever; watercolour “Youth” of V.Yermilov, 1960; masterpieces of classics of the Ukrainian painting: N.Glushchenko, V.Chegodar, P.Stolyarenko, L.Kramarenko, N.Krichevskij, O.Novakivskij, E.Bukovetskij, O.Kulchitskaja and many other are the real collection works of the forthcoming auction.
